Rooted in Colorado’s Crystal Valley Since 1893

Where ranching, conservation, and community come together.

For more than six generations, Sunfire Ranch has stewarded 350 acres of historic agricultural land along the pristine Crystal River. Today, we continue this legacy through regenerative agriculture, sustainable land management, ethical outfitter services, and community-driven initiatives that protect our valley for generations to come.

Discover a place where history, ecology, and purpose meet.

"In the end we will conserve only what we love; we will love only what we understand; and we will understand only what we are taught."

Our legacy

For over 130 years, Sunfire Ranch has been a working landscape, a family home, and a cornerstone of the Crystal Valley community. From early sheep and cattle operations to diversified crop production, the ranch has evolved with the land — always guided by a commitment to stewardship and conservation.

Today, we honor that history through responsible management, resilient agricultural practices, and a dedication to preserving open space in one of Colorado’s most treasured valleys.
